Pit Wrestling
What are we doing here...
Pit Wrestling consists of three consecutive rolls in order to quickly facilitate a match. All matches are fought within the confines of the pit, and a challenger will be disqualified if they intentionally step out of the ring, or throw their opponent out.Punching, kicking, biting, and other methods of inflicting bodily harm are prohibited during these matches unless both participants consent to such beforehand- throws and grappling only!
The Rules Are Simple!
Determine posting order via /random 20 or otherwise, this largely doesn't matter.A round consists of the following:
Participant 1 will type out their action, then use /random 20 to determine their score.
Participant 2 will type out a response, and use /random 20 as well.
Whoever rolls the highest will gain 1 point, and a new round will start!A match ends after a participant gains a total of two points, in which case, the loser is thrown into the pit in a manner of the winner's choosing! In the event of a tie during a round, both participants get a point. If this would result in both participants gaining two points, they instead both lose, as both drop into the pit at the same time!
Example Below:
Rolling Initiative
Lyndis Xyrdan: Rolls a 16.
Some Fool: Rolls a 8.
Lyndis goes first!
Lyndis' Attack Roll
Lyndis Xyrdan: Lyndis grabs the Fool by the shoulder and hip, attempting to haul them to the ground.
Lyndis Xyrdan: Rolls a 12.
Opponent's Attack
Some Fool: Fool stands their ground, anticipating their throw, skidding in place but not falling. Fool attempts to trip Lyndis up by outstretching their foot!
Some Fool: Rolls a 5
Lyndis gains a point!
Lyndis' Attack Roll
Lyndis Xyrdan: Lyndis writes a cool description.
Lyndis Xyrdan: Rolls a 14.
Opponent's Attack
Some Fool: Fool writes a slightly less cool description.
Some Fool: Rolls a 1.
Lyndis gains a point!Since Lyndis won, Fool will type out how their character is thrown into the pit, and the match comes to a conclusion! At which point, you may start up another match if you so wish.
Important Note!
Obviously, mud/oil/chocolate pit wrestling has certain NSFW implications.
Let the record show that whilst some fun is allowed and encouraged, please do not go overboard! Please keep explicit descriptions outside of public chat channels, please and thank you!
Fighting
Appease the court with a dance of violence!

The Rules Are Simple!
Fights consist of Combat Roleplay interspersed with rolls of the dice to determine the success of each action. To ensure that everything moves along quickly, I would personally advise not to make your posts take longer than 5-10 minutes, as Combat RP can oftentimes take quite long! All Combat Roleplay takes place using /yell with the venue's host keeping track of HP.Fighting consists of two players, each with 60 HP. Once this number hits zero or below, that player loses. At the start of combat, roll /random 20, whoever rolls highest goes first and determines turn order. In the event of a tie, roll again. The first-turn player will roll /random 20, and subtract that number from the opponent's health. The second-turn player will then do the same.
All of your posts should include your offensive, and your defensive actions (if any).Once both the starting player has rolled an attack, and the second player has also rolled an attack, that is the end of a round. After three rounds of this back to back (starting with the second turn player), you start dealing double damage! (all results of /random 20 rolls will be doubled)Example Below:
Rolling Initiative
Lyndis Xyrdan: Rolls a 16.
Some Shmuck: Rolls a 8.
Lyndis goes first!
Lyndis' Attack Roll
Lyndis Xyrdan: Lyndis picks up her massive hammer and swings, aiming to smash her opponent in the gut!
Lyndis Xyrdan: Rolls a 12.
Some Shmuck's HP is reduced to 48
Opponent's Attack
Some Schmuck: Shmuck gets hit by the heavy swing, but rolls after the impact to lessen the blow. Taking out his blade, Schmuck surges forwards in an attempt to skewer Lyndis.
Some Schmuck: Rolls a 5
Lyndis' HP is reduced to 55
Lyndis' Next Attack
Lyndis Xyrdan: "Wow, you suck!" She gloats, deflecting the piercing attack with the hilt of her cumbersome weapon, before stomping-- unleashing a shockwave of cold around her!
And so on!
In this example, Schmuck would benefit from double damage first at the start of the fourth round.
Drinking Games
Drink, be merry! Pass out, and be hungover!
Seasonal Challenge
Take on the challenge of Wind, Fire, Earth, or Ice-- let's see just how many shots you can take!
Your character will be given a drink of the chosen element, one after the other, and will roll to see just how many shots they can keep down!
Simply roll /random every time you drink, with the difficulty of the roll increasing with every success (starting at 200+ for the first success, increasing by 50 every time). After failing a roll, RPing out the failure can take the form of simply being too drunk to continue, or being overcome by the elemental effect of the drink. Feel free to ask the bartender what that might entail if you're confused!Beating the record for the challenge below will result in a pay out of Gil, as well as your name being added to the roster.
| Element | Name | Shots |
|---|---|---|
| Wind | n/a | 2 |
| Fire | n/a | 4 |
| Earth | Vaundy Shroudpaw@Balmung | 4 |
| Ice | n/a | 3 |
Mixologist Mayhem
What happens when all four seasons combine at once? Wanna find out?
Your character will be given the task of mixing their own drink from various potions. The very spirit of the Index hates someone not permitted to make drinks here, so even the most talented bartenders may find their drinks tasting strange. Whatever they concoct, they must drink! This game requires a total of two rolls. Input the command /random 4, and so will the bartender. If those numbers match, you win a perfectly normal drink, as well as a Gil prize. If those numbers do not match, however, you make an abomination of a drink rolled on a secret, random table. These resulting drinks, whilst unstable, are very temporary effects.
About
Come one, come all!
The Venue

The Axe and Index takes the form of an unassuming cottage buried deep within the heart of The Mists, as the second home of a budding florist and gardener. However, within these doors lie both a cozy interior and a battlefield both! Promising violence with a nice side of hot cocoa-- or liquor. The way of the Index is to never judge a book by its cover, after all.Dynamis is the key ingredient to the alchemical concoctions served, with the power of emotion channelled into the beverages served to provide unique effects to those that imbibe them.In addition, Memories are just as important to each and every drink. Invoking foul and fair recollections of seasons past, the way of the Axe is to never forget where we came from, to forge a new path forward and carve new memories... and, of course, to remember each and every victory.Indeed, the Axe and Index is a culmination of brightest wit and brute strength! Much like the Nymian Scholars and Marauders of old. Drink, and be merry, or fight, and be victorious!
The Staff
Lyndis Xyrdan

Owner
"What can I get'cha? Drink? Snacks? A hammer?"
Preferred Weapon: Hammer
Charismatic, charming, and with a fondness for all things icy- Lyndis provides service with a smile.
She loves her gloomy counterpart, and will whole-heartedly spill as many embarrassing stories about her when asked. Lyndis gets riled up easily, and is always down to rumble!
Lyn Xyrdan

Co-Owner
"Don't expect much mischief from me. But do mind the house."
Preferred Weapon: Staff
Cold, sarcastic, but no less courteous, Lyn makes an appearance whenever her upbeat doppelganger is busy with other matters. She is trained in matters of the occult rather than the fey, even if those matters occasionally coincide. She is polite, precise, and patient. If not a little reckless.
The Spirit of Xyrdan

"The House"
"Kneel before me and join my court!"
Preferred Weapon: Other People
The entity that resides within the Axe and Index rarely manifests as a diminutive pixie. Whilst occasionally cruel and callous, favouring pranks over conversation, the little Xyrdan is quite easily amused. So long as you're not a stick in the mud, her wrath shall not be incurred. She is less of a member of staff and more a consequence.
Plot Hooks
Dynamis-related research and alchemy; in spite of her bubbly demeanour Lyndis appears quite knowledgeable on the subject.
Good ol' fashioned brawling! Both owners are always up to punch you or blow you up!
Fae fun with weird elixirs and potions, Lyndis is open for requests! Even serious ones!
"why is it called the axe and index if you use a hammer" SHUT UP I'LL YELL AT YOU
Training - come learn the ways of swinging a big axe around!
Rules
Hey, listen!
- This is an 18+ Venue. Suggestive themes are fine but please keep all actual ERP out of the venue. Out of sight, out of mind!
- Respect the roll of the die! Sometimes RNG isn't on your side, but don't let that keep you from having a good time.
- Stay respectful OOC. Keep IC beef IC-- but even then, no one likes an asshole! Keep it minimal.
